Couple of bars, then a fight kicked off so we taxi'd into ox. Most pointless trip ever.

How could anyone ever think its better than Ox??

it's a true statement sir. but it depends on what you're looking for!

For a nice chilled jaunt round some pubs and bars it's difficult to beat IMHO - especially in the summer months.

Oxford is great fr pubs. If you want a decent night out you have to really leave the city, but then that's no real big deal is it? Can't expect everything at your doorstep

I spent Friday night in Ashford in Kent which was ok, and Saturday in Eastbourne which was big, beers on the beach ftw

all about briz in the summer :) tonnes of places to have a beer - doesn't even have to be from a pub, plenty of people taking their own beers down and sitting by the water for sunset...
