It wasn't expensive at all.

Being a bit of a sneaker head it is a real shame... Always seemed to end up coming out with less ticket money than I should have, probably something to do with buying a new pair every time I walked in the place!!!

Ry is also a top guy, hope all goes well for him..

It's a shame.

Shops like Ryouki who add a bit of character to Oxford & are a little niche or away from "Topman" make Oxford interesting.

Go Madz with the Bedlam debate.

They did stock Nike and Addidas, the Chase and Status and Pendulum of the trainer world :badsantathumbs:

To be honest, last time I went in there, the selection was horrific. There wasn't a single pair that took my eye. Each to his own obviously but I'm surprised it stayed open as long as it did, given the selection and the competition from online stores.

I do give a huge 'fair play' for having the balls to open a shop like that, but I'm really not surprised it has had to close.

Never went to the place but many a time put there logo on a flyer or whatever. I'm sure the old unit will be turned into another coffee shop!

Brum? London?

Pretty much

Brum is pretty good, Reading is also supprisingly decent. London is obviously good if you want to spend the money, Carnaby street is dangerous! Also some nice little places around Brick Lane and the Truman Brewery area, spitfield Market etc

Yep all about supporting locals.. I buy my wild bore and truffles from a local butcher, fresh Scotish salmon from local fishmonger, all whilst employing a local chap to drive me there... Azonica pick me up at 6, I have run out of milk...

Proper shame it shut down, feel sorry for Ryan, nice bloke. Shopping in oxford has gone from awful to pointless now. Shopping online is a bit of a kant aswell, waiting for delivieries/wrong sizes etc etc...

London is the nearest decent place for shopping really and even then you gotta mission all over the place to go to the shops you wanna get too!

Hard Edge is Reading is quite 'phat'. Pity I can never afford to get to Reading let alone buy their clobber.

PS - what happened to cult?? It's now 99% Superdry and all the colours are wanky these days. Sky blue with light brown and grey and yellow all on the same garment, etc.

Then again, I don't follow 'fashion'. Take FMH for example, I wouldnt be seen dead in most of the shit in their 'fashion' pages (except when they put some nice suits in there for the workers among us, which I could never afford).

etc.

Same company that owns Superdry owns Cult Clothing...
