Every good forum needs a dedicated thread.

Not been great so far, Germany looked very solid yesterday.

I thought we'd draw against the yanks, anyone who thought we'd win easily is a bit thick really. Gotta stick with Green for the next match at least. J. Cole to start on the left please fabio.

Edgar Davids in the Studio last night. What a rare old boy he is.

I said all along the keeper should have been announced from the start who is number one so the back 4 have time to prepare with the keeper. Also for the keepers benefit of course. To be told before you get on the coach wtf is that all about ?

Hart should have been given the number one shirt from the start.

Green for West Ham was ordinary at best.

Hart all the way for me from the start confident for his age so starting him would not have been a problem imo. Smashed it in goal for Birmingham against a lot better quality players than the USA.

PS enough of those fucking horns already.

England team update... Rob Green has trained today and in 3 hours he had 4000 shots fired at him and did not concede a single goal!

Tomorrow, Green and Heskey will train with the rest of the squad!

It's in homage to a really famous headline saying "Harvard beats Yale 29-29" from some decades ago, aparently!

Why does he think it's a great idea to let the players know who is playing just before the game. He was on about dropping Heskey for Defoe today.

Will proberbly start James.

Bit of a joke really. His inteviews are crap aswell he does not understand English. Bring back an English manager ffs.

Fuck all this high paid rubbish. England manager should be English end of.

I think the 'manager should be English' argument is bullshit.

If there's one manager i'd love to see in charge it'd be Hiddink.

i dont think the manager should be foriegn, you need to know the mind set and culture of the players, we're not a nation without its own decent mangers like some of the developing countries. Can you image other football nations like brazil, argentina, spain, italy, france, germany, holland with a foreign coach? plus now i think we've got some good managers who could do a job (Hodgson and redknapp), but either way i'll (try and) be behind the team whatever till it changes.

Theyre having the clear the air talks today so maybe we'll get back our lion hearts!

It's a joke. What next? We might as well play foreign players ffs. The manager plays a vital role so should be English.

What good has a foreign manager done anyway? Sweet FA.

We need an English manager back in that knows the premiership like the back of there hand (Hodson or a Redknapp) knows the English players.

Capello I can barely even understand what the bloke is saying.

English media are cunts.

John Terry is a cunt.

The way everyone is going on you'd think we were already out. If we win we'll top the group and everyone will forget all this bollocks.

John Terry coming out and almost trying to start a revolt against the manager is fucking stupid. It seems like he's still holding a grudge over being stripped of his captaincy.

It's all blown way out of proportion as usual. Let's just wait and see what happens.

As for the English manager debate, appointing McLaren really helped didn't it?

Lets face it, you could have pretty much anyone in charge and we'd still be shit.

evolucian
21st June 2010, 05:49 PM
where are you getting the john terry stuff from? everyone wanted a clear the air meeting, but not all the players wanted this to be public knowledge as far as im aware, you think JT is going to have clear the air talks with himself looking in the mirror? lol

Maclaren is totally different from redknapp and hodgson, he obviously wasnt ready for the job

no point being a world class manager if you cant communite your world class steez.

We could see an English manager back very soon.

Clearly Fabio does not know the English players, the English league and the English language.

Now it a case of can we afford to get rid of the cunt, we wait two weeks to find out.

FOF

Fuck OFF Fabio.

He does not understand English let alone the English players or the English game. Or even international Football for that matter.

The FA have now already admitted they took a gamble on him because there was a wacking great big whole in his CV NO International football expericance.

BIG BIG FAIL.

Fabio deserves another chance imo.

Yeah, it would be unbearable seeing Harry Redknapp on the sidelines, talking about all his 'triffic players and from his punditry at this world cup clearly knows fuck all about international football too.

Doubt
2nd July 2010, 04:02 PM
Exactly. People saying that Fabio has no international experience and they want an English manager.

Which English managers have international experience?!

Fabio is keeping the job now anyway so we better get used to him.

Roy Hodgson

I wouldn't say that international experience in management is hugely important.

The manager has to take the blame as well as the players.

Looking back that group should have been won. All three performances in the group games were shocking.

His tactics and selections were well of the mark.
