I've got a pretty clear idea about what i think it is, but i'd like to know what some of you lot think....

I'm really into the liquid side of D&B at the moment. In my eyes Liquid funk, is just another name for mellow D&B. Well Intelligent D&B, is what ive always played then the Liquid Funk name came about.

Liquid Funk = Drum&Bass with soul...dunno whether that really idenifies it or not, but thats what I like! :D

in my opinion it certainly encompasses the more musical side of drum and bass, all the double bass funk tip stuff, and the progressive house style that matrix has been pushing of late, and all that disco bizness a la blueskin

to me it's gotta be smooth, sexy, deep and rollin. and has a certain je ne sais crois about it.
