Deviation 3rd Birthday Session PT2 at Cable.
After celebrating our 3rd year of Deviation Sessions at Gramaphone with J Rocc earlier this month, we thought it only right to celebrate once more for a one off Saturday night session at Cable.
Spreading the celebrations over two rooms for a special Saturday night session, we've curated a friends and family line up especially for the event. Taking over Room 1 alongside Deviation resident Benji B and host MC Judah, we have one of the biggest names in music from the midwest of America Theo Parrish who will be playing alongside one of the most influential DJs in the UK right now Kode 9. Pushing the sound of their respective homes via their record labels, Theo has supported the Midwest's unique strain of music on his Sound Signature record label, while as a DJ you can expect to hear an uncomprised selection of house, techno, disco, jazz and beyond in one set.
After celebrating five years of his record label last year, Kode 9 has gone from strength to strength yet again this year with his Hyperdub label. Releasing records that span throughout the genres of Grime, Funky, Dubstep, 2-Step, Soul and everything in-between. As such you can expect to hear tracks from Flying Lotus to Wiley to Prince in single Kode 9 set. Collectively covering the Deviation sound and having never shared the same bill before, we're excited to see what Theo and Kode will bring to the plate.
In Room Two we'll continue with the friends and family line up by inviting of Non-Sense Djs (Beni Blanco & Mr Wonderful), Moxie and Alexander Nut to handle the birthday proceedings.
See you on the dancefloor.
