Good night but shame my mate got kicked out for sitting on a stool though? Got grabbed round the neck and pushed out. Really good attitude there from the door men. A few questions should be asked I believe. He was asked to put the seat back at the table because the stools were near the speakers and he was sat on one and as he went to move one that's when he basically started on him!!! Not a fight obviously but kind of man handled him. Apart from this the night was alright but Dan (Method) who got kicked out was one of the main ravers on the dance floor going for it!!! Also in the same incident, Ed (Mayhem) got kicked out because the door man recognised him from last time?! I you sent these door men to the genesis, you wouldn't have anyone in the club.

Oh well!

Sure someone mentioned in one of the other posts that they were going to bring a horn!!! Nevermind.

Was truly another blinda, shame alot of peeps didn't make it or had to leave early.. :( So nuff respect to those that raved hard throughout the nite, whether it was on the dancefloor or chilling elsewhere with ya cocktails ;)

Apologies to those who got kicked out for real silly reasons...the security in there ar only doing their job at the end of the day, but that was harsh kicking someone out for moving a stool, and recoignising matee from last time...someone did say they overheard him say that there was too many youngones there...so I think that was more the reason...all the same quite harsh!...Hope you had a good nite up till then guys, please don't let that stop you coming again...

All the sets from the nite will be available on feelthebass, or ask in Avid Records, class sets by everyone, so if ya missed out or want a reminder get your copies now!

We had a new MC on that nite, called MC Biggie,,he will be joining us for COMPOUND next year. This guy is bad!!! He's been into the scene for a some time now, and MC'ed @ One Nation a few years ago. Big up to MC Shuffla for his brilliant performance again.

COMPOUND will be back in the new year for a Valentine special on wednesday 12th February. The nite will have four budding DJ's trying out in our DJ Competition! :) Also don't miss the Destiny FM guy's & our Special Guests DOPE AMMO, and of course resident DJ's Ceedee, Melodize, Juicy & Myself (Vyper)

I got the name wrong..the MC we had was Oggie not Biggie...me being sleepy...me thinks that's how I got the names all muddled....

It was a shame they got kickked out though. Ed has been twice to Compound and lasted about an hour eacxh time. If he comes next time maybe he'll make a couple of hours if he's lucky!

How are the CD's because I know Juicy definately played a pretty good set as well as everyone else.

The volumes were changing all night which was a bit strange eg. when you were playing your set at the end of the night, it was quiet by then. (you did play the last set didn't you?!!!)

the overall volumes are set by the mixing desk at the back of the venue
i think the minidisc was straight out of the mixer, thus i don't think the cd's will be impeeded by the change... well i hope not :)

really gotta get the bass-invaders down to compound sometime son...only problem is...in our crew in uneployed:employed ratio is about 4:1 hence most of us usually can't afford nights in oxford :(
