Alright Ali. As you're clocking up the posts I reckon its time you got urself a cool sig mate.

If you don't know how to do it...

Copy the properties of a picture you like from right clicking on the image. Paste it in your profile then put [/img] then properties link here then..[/img] Leave the first forward slash out.

Come to think of it, I'm after an avatar. Anyone tell me how to get one? Is it the same as a sig but has to be a set size?

ok mate, you're gonna have to explain to me exactly what i have to do. tried to follow what u said but got lost after the copying of the image using right click... just coz i work on a computer all day doesnt mean i know what the hell im doing! explain it to me like i am a five year old, then i might get it!

*find a picture you like
*right click on it, click properties from the list
*copy the address from the "URL"
*Go to your profile where you current sig is
*Paste the address into the text box and put IMG tags so if your picture addy was called www.ilovejungle.com/drum.jpg

you'd need to put the before addy

and a afterwards

ok so i managed to copy the address from the URL and pasted it into the text box, but i have no idea what an IMG tag is...:stupid:

The IMG tag is simply what you need to type i.e this button [ the letter I then M then G then ] five year old enuf? ;)

you have to close the [IMG] tag too matey!

What's your avatar prob? Try openening the image you want in mspaint then reducing the size, then try uploading it again.

No avatar prob really I havn't tried it yet. Is it simply a matter of finding a smaller image and doing the same as a signiature?

been trying to get an image sorted for about a week now and every image i try doesnt work so ive given up. :mad:

managed to sort out an avatar now though:D

A good bet for images that are allowed on forums is searching on google for images. Check them first by seeing full size image. This'll show you if they can be used by yourself. Right i'm gonna find me an avatar too :)
