whos up for it? weve got some good talent on the board and i thought it would be cool to get a showcase of everyones style and where they're at.

you get 15 mins alloted time to show what happens when you get behind those decks!

scratching is a bit of a bitch cos i cant do it for shit lol

the file name needs to have no referance to he dj at all in the title!
cos when we come to vote we'd be able to cheat, thus makign the contest unfair and bullshit.

we could have different sections for seperate genres, with each dj being allowed to enter one mix for each different genre (tho sticking to dnb is a much easier option)

i thought maybe if we talked nicely to chris he'd be able to host the mixes for us. although by doing that he will know who handed in which mix before the voting takes place, as long as he doesnt let anything slip everything should go fine :)

ummm.... i cant remember any other rules, if indeed there were any others...

but what do you think? it should be fun!

obviously the winner is allowed to be a little big headed about it and take the piss, but not too much mind you

What about a FTB night?? We would be able to have a DJ and MC battle all under one roof??

Each DJ/MC would get 15-20 mins to show what they can do. Might have to spread it over two different nights as there are a few DJs/MCs, with the finalist batteling it out in a head 2 head on the final night??

It seems that everyone views FTB at work so are not able to upload a mix (i have the same trouble).

It wouldnt be the same as a submitting a mix with no name, but it is along the same idea??

Whenever?? It is up to every member of the FTB massive!!

This it the way i was thinking of doing it (but its open to any ideas)

We need to get a venue- somewhere everyone is able to reach
We need to set a date- somthing everyone is able to make

Once we have these confirmed then we could start to put the night together i.e- sound system, flyers, dj entries, mc entries and playing times.

The only stumbling block would be- MONEY.
Unfortunately nothing is free, so we would need some cash for venue, sound system etc.

I was thinking (and this is just a thought) that we could charge £2-3 for everyone who wants to come and rave, and also a very small charge for who ever wants to enter the comp! Then we could also afford a prize for the winner!

i was talkin with chew lay yesterday + he's thinin of tryin for a saturday night event again. if we had this on the sat (if he gets it) it would ram the place and he'd be able to continue with sat doo's
