So, think you're a good DJ? Now's your chance to prove it. Send your mixes to us here at FEELTHEBASS.CO.UK and they will be uploaded onto our servers. People will then be able to vote for whichever mix they like the best, and at the end of the competition, the mix with the most votes will win the prize.
THE PRIZE: £50 (FIFTY POUNDS) to spend in your local record shop
a prime time set at the next FTB event
and 3 weekend shows on FEELTHEBASS.CO.UK
HOW TO ENTER
The competition is open to anyone.
1. Record a 20 minute mix of you mixing whatever you like - it doesn't have to be DnB, but if it isn't it might make the judging harder which might not work in your favour. But it's up to you!
2. Put the MD/CD/MP3 of it in an envelope along with your name, address, phone number, and your DJ name and send it to FTB Online, 25 Stonesfield, Didcot, OX11 9RF. Enclose a cheque for £2 (two pounds) payable to FTB Online to cover the entry fee, or call us with your card details.
3. On March 9th 2003, your mix will appear alongside all the other entries on the website in a special section which will be dedicated to this competition. Anyone will be able to stream the mixes and vote for the one they like the best. For the duration of the competition your name will NOT be listed by the mix. Voting will be open from 9th March 2003 and will close on 31st March 2003.
4. At the end of the competition, the mix with the most votes will be named the winning mix. The winner will get FIFTY POUNDS to spend on records from a record shop of their choice, a prime time set at the next FTB event, and shows on FEELTHEBASS.CO.UK on April 12th, 19th, and 26th 2003.
So what are you waiting for?!! Closing date for submissions is FEBRUARY 28th 2003 so get recording!!! The mixes will then all be published on the site on MARCH 9th 2003, and the voting will commence. When voting has ended, they will be counted and the winner will be announced on the website on APRIL 4th 2003.
