since there are no students around, we have the idea of showcasing all the ressies and having it MUCH cheaper to get in!

what do you think?

good?

bad?

impartial?

Why not do something like £4 to get in and a free drink?

And yes - I'm looking forward to this one.

Are you recording it?!

Do you ever record Source?

I'm more likely to buy a Source tape pack than I am to go to the raves [usually], I don't like the Zodiac to be honest [as a punter]...

sounds like a good idea, ever since i was a kid promoting for Dougie I have been told to forget about big nights out of term time. I stuck to that rigidly for years until our first birthday. we put on the mosty expensive line up kinetic has had so far £4300 it cost in the end after hotels and travel. I was well worried about the students not being here especially with acts like the EZ rollers booked but 473 junglists proved me wrong and it turned out to be one of the best nights around! Brillo may be wondering why source is quiet alot of the time, well its the acts you book mate only the heads are going to go to seee them 'cause no one else has even heard of artists like MAtrix and Keaton. When you book the big names on the circuit your average raver will come down. The hype/andy c gig proves that it was ram jam as I am sure MArky will be (if you put a date on the flyposter!!!no one knows when it is) any way just a thought from another junglist not criticism!!1

ed my son...

just wait for the line ups... it's true what you say and we have certainly taken heed of criticism. source has always been about flipping the scripts and i'm sure come term time you'll be interested in the line ups :p

What a waste of almost 5k.

I may be a shoe-string budget small time promoter compared to the mighty Ed Kinetic :badteeth: but you could do EVEN BETTER than that with that sort of cash...

Fair play that was a good rave [or so I heard???] but you could have made a serious wodge from that if you had thought it through more economically!

I guess you've got money to burn.

Yeah mate, resident night sounds good, a chance for peeps to really here the best of the residents! :)

Put a cheaper door fee on this one, and that'll make up for the students all being away..

it's good to have loads of residents on rotation, that way the sound doesn't become stagnant with the same sets being placed.

I could play a different style set every *week* if you want!

I agree, I hate hearing the same tunes in a different order every time.

Does Brillo need a demo from me?

I wouldn't say no to a set at Source!

Hotels are on every contract its whether they wish to take you up on it, admittedly its rare, but it does happen sometimes they have to fly abroad the next day so they ask, but you can negogiate, thing is that party sounded like it was phat and it was an original kinda line up and it worked, so not everyone is in it for all the money!!!

Residents night sounds heavy, loads of different styles in the camp and would help people push their own beats etc, nice work I am sure it would still pull in nuff people if the door price is right

sounds like a good idea. always hard to pull punters in in the summer. easter is a bit of an execption coz the students don't go home quite as much.
