When I imagine the future I see everybody simultaniously uploading and downloading thoughts and memories directly into each others mind drives!
Filesharing has become the collective consciousness...
Everybody learns together from each others experiences...
Tomorrow people somehow imagine this helps progress human civilisation, but it has its failures. Mainly the amount of cyber-terrorism...

I've been reading up a bit on Futurologists theories of tommorrows technology... I dunno if you watch Click Online or the Gadget Show etc, but at the rate we're going theres gonna be some crazy crazy CRAZY shit going in the 2050s, if were still kicking it.
Heres a site I've been reading: http://www.photonswarm.com
This website is about futurology. It attempts to describe and outline possible future science, technology and engineering. The subject matter is based on real, cutting edge scientific knowledge: most of the articles discuss principles and concepts that are definitely achievable, and the challenges are those of political will and engineering talent. Some of the ideas explored have already been achieved by the innovation and forward-thinking of enterprising individuals.
PhotonSwarm follows cutting edge developments in its news section, which also allows users to provide their own comments and additional information. The futurology articles on PhotonSwarm are a store of knowledge for current projects attempted by humanity today, and those that lie over the horizon tomorrow.
