today i found a 1 hour set of loads of dillinjas tunes...
"<i>It was a LOT of Dillinja to mix, and it got quite boring at times, but I pulled through it. Teh mix sounds pretty dope IMO (but I am gonna say that innit!)
I didnt do a tracklist, but it includes Human B Bop, B Bop VIP, Valve Sound, Live or Die, South Mans, Kids Stuff, What Yo Sayin, F-Down, and many more!
Come and see Dillinja in full swing alongside Lemon D, Bassline Smith, John B, myself, and teh mighty Triple M. All on the 31st January 2003 on the Pier in Portsmouth (UK)"</i>
probly should have listenbed to it before i posted it, but i know the guys pretty good at mixin so here it is:

i would mate but i just can't stand his new stuff.. he is probably one of my least favourite producers these days... i mean the early test releases were awesome but it's same old same old these days... nothing new.. it's a shame becuase on the strength of his older stuff, he is a legend but they new stuff just doesn't cut the mustard in my oppinion....

I have to admit i'm a bit naive and don't really know the difference between old and new as I haven't been around very long! but out of everything i've downloaded and listened to I do like some tunes more than others. Namely Weapon of Choice, The Angels Fell, So Damn Tuff, and Armoured D. I think i've got the names right.
And I like the way he played with a bjork tune to! That may just be a girly thing!

mate!! you've got tonnes of dj's who play dark tunes!! not everybody in this world likes the dark stuff! alot of it is far too mechanical and over quantisised! saying that i'm so into concord dawn!
but i respect fabio for keeping it real!!!
in the time between 1998 and 1999 - everyone was playing the dark stuff which is why drum&bass nearly died! the girls left the scene.. i remember looking at the crowd in some events and thinking jesus this might as well be a gay club!!
now there is so much variety in our scene, it's back where it belongs and things are healthy now.... however i'm a bit worried about trouble in clubs... i think there will be quite a bit of it this year!! that's worrying!!

what dj's do you know that have played a set as dirty as the Bass-Invaders last show? cos id like to go see em live (Fission would be the obvious answer there as the set i linked to is bangin'!)
quantisised! saying that i'm so into concord dawn!
wassat then? + yes concord dawn are p-h-a-t (must remember to go on a downloading mission of their tunes)
but i respect fabio for keeping it real!!!
gotta respect anyone who sticks to their guns.... or vinyls in this case :)
the girls left the scene.. i remember looking at the crowd in some events and thinking jesus this might as well be a gay club!!
ive noticed a lack of girls into dnb, tho you gotta admit. theres a hell of alot of fitties into dnb!
now there is so much variety in our scene, it's back where it belongs and things are healthy now
very true, and its deffinately a good thing, as people will listen to the lighter stuff... then realise dnb gets bangin if you dig a little deeper, lol
but honestly, is shy fx on a personal mission to commercialise drum and bass and change the scene forever or what!? got his mumber? i wanna ring him and ask...
however i'm a bit worried about trouble in clubs... i think there will be quite a bit of it this year!! that's worrying!!
1] i hope for the scene's sake people dont start getting shot, cos i love taking the piss out of garage ravers about all that :D
2] take a gun and shoot them before they shoot you... thats what i say. B)
Diversity in the scene is a good thing for obvous reasons. i will listen to all dnb, my dad brought me back 2 ltj bukem cd's and a 'this is drum and bass' one (ive heard of like 3 artists on there, lol) all totaly chillout. i play em whem im running around on counter strike shooting people, or if im just in a bad mood. soemtimes i even play my one most favourite trance cd in the whole world 'trance nation 1' its got loads of teh tunes i loved when i was into it like 5 yrs ago. although i have no idea whre it is, which is kinda worrying...

i feel sorry for shy fx becuase he turned down a 6 figure sum in 1994/5 to keep it real and then the rest of the scene went with majors.. so in a way i think mr shy is just getting his dues..
saying that i'm not really into his tunes...
