Mainly at the promoters:

It can't be that hard to sort out a booking for Kane.

I've seen so many big ups, I'm just interested to see someone book him in Oxford at a night here.

Maybe Ken Attack or Reload? Would be heavy.

Check the site and contact him or something.

Not being a promoter myself I can't do anything about getting him booked apart from suggesting although would book him for sure if I did.

all about popularity.

many many more popular djs who get booked... i.e. nicky b/m.

all about quantifying their fee.

I know what you mean but I don't think he'd be too much to book would he?

Plus when you go about the net you chat to DJ's etc ad I mean some are happy to come and play for a small fee without agency business.

I could name a few that would but I'm not naming them.

Not saying that about Kane but some others.

true say mate but here are a few factors.

1) people travel from as far away as birmingham, kettering, cheltenham, bristol, maidenhead, reading, london, hemel hempstead, northampton and portsmouth to come to HQ. Chris didn't cost me anywhere as much as kane would. also i know that more than enough people came to see chris to cover his fee, inperspective recordings is one of the hottest labels in the uk scene.

for sure i'm well up for booking fresh talent, but as long as it makes economic sense. i can't afford to loose money on the event so it's 6 of one and half a dozen of another, luckily we have friends in the scene who are willing to pay for cheap. where else could you go and see nookie, breakage, senses and mc five alive on one bill all for £3?
