went to the end with no ear plugs

the ringing is back

i'm not going to another event untill i get my plugs sorted!

if anyone else wants to get fitted up for custom ear plugs when i go please say so..

the plugs are flat response which can reduce the overall volume by either 15 or 25 dB... basically they are the bees knees and they do not muffle the sound at all.

you are looking at about £120 - £150 a pair but the investment will pay dividends as your ears won't get phucked like mine.... beleive me you wouldn't even begin to imagine what tinnitus is like..... apparantly people get suicidal with this business.. eek!

well i'm going to either hertfordshire or cheltenham, i'll report back mate... these plugs don't muffle at all, just reduce the overall volume... so well worth it...

i guess 10 years of clubbing/raving has taken it's toll!!!

i hope i can sort them by the end of jan, i have 3 gigs on the trot!

hmmmmm i have no headfones to mix with and the ones my mate lent me are shite beyond belief, so been using headfones from my walkman cos basically sound quality is ten times better.... but after a mix the other night i was in bed and i could hear this humming noise (not high pitched thank god not tinnitus) everythign was switched off, even got outta bed and pulled plugs out, still this humming noise. Was doing my nut !! Then i realise when a car goes past outside that my ears are actually throbbing and i heard the car pass with bits cut out. Realised that hummnig was prolly in my ears if i coudl only hear things intermittently!!!! Needless to say my in-ear headfones back on my walkman where they belong and im using the shit headfones again.

think its cos it was so far in my ears and how loud they needed to be so i could hear over the top of the speakers!

Easy to forget how u can damage your ears....ever hear a bassline in the tarmac wen you r in the car/coach home from an event....sign its been loud one eh!
