alright mate.sites looking promiseing. for reply to yesterdays post which has dissapeared. i go any where swindon,london,birmingham,skeggy,miton keynes ect! where ever the best DJ'S and longest sets are :rolleyes:
having a busy weekend this weekend so proberly do nickyblackmarket at the bully. need to save some money for some decks myself!

Blackmarket was plaing ok heard better from him tho.but then i must have seen him 10 times this year and remember his two hour blinding sets in bigger venues.
I like the cd man well worth the fiver :)
alrighty there bazza! my decks are looking ever closer just deciding what set up i want :rolleyes:

oxonraver,mate. i have known what decks i want for years, but i still aint got them. :(
ceedee: As for that clanger on the cd, hopelully i will have a copy on the way to me soon. i will definately notice it now. :P but i bet the cd is banging all the same.
and you don't want to hear my mixing. god help if you do. i say to the crowd, "hope you lot like this tune". As i put the needle back to the start. if you know what i mean. oh and i forgot, TOP MARKS TO THE SITE. JOB WELL DONE ME THINKS.

thanks mate :) a lot of effort has gone into it - starting to pay off now, it's nice to get some positive feedback from like minded people :)

pretty sure im going to get technics 1210's
but what mixer????????? theres so many? is it a waste of time getting four channels??? fx or sampler?????? who knows going to go shopping saturday.
have a look at mixers and might buy second hand.once i've seen whats what.
any tips would be appreciated.

if you're starting out, i would recomend any cheap mixer. i had a bog standard KAM "get up and scratch" mixer which met my requirments at the time. then the cross fader blew up :(
You never know, you might go and cain loadsa dollar on a fat mixer and then after a few months decide you can't be arsed with mixing,,
As for the 1210's, they are the right choice everytime for me. Personally i would choose the 1200's as i like the gun metal finnish on em. but thats just me being picky.

cheers lads. ive had so much advise from here and there im just going around in circles!! theres only one way and thats to go shopping :) :)
Inherited a set of jamo speakers today so need some decks to plug in to them :) :) roll on saturday.

if you are mixer shopping.. do yourselves a huge favor and buy a mixer with VCA faders.... these never crackle :) and will save yourselves loadsa cash, espcecially if you have aspirations of being the next hype/marky/lunar(sic)

i got a pair of numark tt2's.borrowing a mixer at the mo. get mine soon.
getting used to my viynl and keep popping down avid's.
