wicked night... i had to leave a bit early so i could get home to bed.. christ knows what i'm going to be like next weekend with three gigs on the trot... total mission that's gonna be..

up first when we arrived was mr vyper who played a set of nice 94-96 drum&bass/jungle akin to the style you would have heard hype and kenny ken etc play back in the day... i remember hearing the likes of quest, pulp fiction, valley of the shadows etc. top drawer stuff

leon up next playing somenice 91 bizniz... loved the fact "where love lives"got a rewind... nice selection bro..

dj lisa came on after tht and playd a mixed back of obscure drum&bass and ever more obscure new skool breaks which was a tad dissapointing as i know the girl has some wicked old skool stuff (after all she did date easygroove)..

i left soon after that so didn't getto hear gary or anyone else..

wicked do though and i'll be sure to frequent the next one if i've got a night off.

so here we have the run down..

crowd 8/10 - proper party heads, probs about 5% students tops..
system - 9/10 in the front room! sounded crisp once the levels where adjusted on the mixer..
value for money? 10/10 a fiver for a saturday night in oxford? bargain!

big ups to the compound lot, oxon raver, gem and the avid massive, skippy, blaze, ryan and all at project mayhem... boh!
