Event Name: One Nation - The Official Carnival Afterparty!
Event Info: On Sunday 29th August Brixton Academy will be the venue for the official carnival after party - London's biggest drum n' bass event of 2004, hosted by the UK's premier drum n' bass organisation.

The line up - No one can match the DJ and MC firepower on offer here. Award winners, 3 deck mixers, scratchers, live PA's, they're all represented here.

The Sound System - The most important ingredient in a truly huge venue like the Academy. The Funktion 1 system was debuted in November 2003 and was the first and only sound system to attract sound complaints from local residents - and this time it's gonna be even louder!

The Venue - Brixton Academy isn't a club and it isn't a warehouse. It's an awesome music music venue with a huge capacity and the very best in user facilities. This is how it should be done.

gonna try and reach this, gonna have to head to it straight from bournmouth tho which will be a bit of a killa. couldnt even find the drum n bass rig last year, all just seemed to be garage, ragga and hip hop

No but I queued for over 2hrs to get into Herbal, left the queue at 12:45 to get the tube, tube was shut so paid thru the nose to get a taxi back to my girl's yard in Wimbledon from Old Street.

So all in all a shit night, but Monday more than made up for it
