I disagree with ya merge, there's 'fit women' as you put it..liking every type of music. Your version of shit music is anything not related to rave music...so you've narrowed down your selection of fit women.
If you was more open minded bout music, you wouldn't care what music the 'fit' girls are into, even if it wasn't your cup of tea.
Still Merge there's PLENTY of 'fit women' that love there D&B & OldSkool...so no need to worry! ;)

Good point.
I've seen nuff fit girls at some Source nights at the Zode and Brookes, its just luck of the draw really.
And if you go to a big rave and don't see amny fit gals then you're not looking hard enough :D

Well, I've given up *now* but I did [for a while] try to get through a night in the Coven or the Bully *without* getting my footwear caked in crap from the club floor...
Dirty muddy filthy bogs!

Respect to Park End in terms of carpets but sort out the chooooons!!!!!

why should park end change their tunes when they are getting 2000 through the door at the weekends.. as a business they are doing really well!
demand vs supply and the like.

I agree with Denise, a lot more girls would go to Dnb events if they were in nicer venues.

problem is that d&b kinda loses it's edge if the venue isn't suitable.
which is why i'm a staunch advocate of fabric. nice venue. nice tunes. nice ladies. seeen!

Yes but not all of us give a fuck about *that* bruv...
McDonalds makes *more* money when they are environmentally unfriendly, so why should *they* change?!
Park End are obviously gonna put the money before anything else but you must admit you'd like to hear more of what we like in there instead of just some of what you like, if money wasn't brought into it.
Jungle ain't abaout the money so it won't happen will it, but we can fantasise!
["Oh but dude back in the day...."]
:whatever bruv:
Just trying to disagree because you can aren't you mate?! :)

the venue doens't have to be immaculate, just clean toilets and floors that dont look as though they are gonna fall through any second wouldnt go amiss!

Most of my girl mates don't like coming to nights in oxford, yet there always up for going to clubs out of town
SugaCube
26th August 2004, 04:12 PM
thats coz oxford is a shite hole. then again wherever you live, you always reckon somewhere else is better.

If the Coven was done up a little, it would attract a lot more girls i think.

if i ran the venue i wouldn't change it. unless it was performing badly! it is being run as a business and it's doing pretty well. personally i don't think park end would suit jungle or most of forms of dance music. at all.

I cant say I agree with that really - as everyone has said go to some nicer venues and maybe you'll find the women make more of an effort.

Fabric is always packed with muff, in fact Fabric's just packed in general.
Nice club but hasn't changed it's music policy for about 3 years. Getting a little stale IMO.
Easily the best venue in the UK though.
@ Merge - Park end is there to make money end of, why would they change their music policy if it is still pulling in the punters. It's a terrible venue anyway, just reminds me of being 16/17 and having a centre parting.

I think we should end this debate by having a day trip to Swerve and conducting a scientific experiment.
Or as Niki would call it 'a muff count' :badteeth:

ALL my girl's mates are 'fit' - Stumasta will vouch. Most of them are feeling D&B but when it comes to going out, are put off by the duttiness of clubs like Coven and Bully - if these places were less scrubbing then more girls would attend, no doubt
