Apologies: this is a blantant rant


I LOST ALL MY F*CKING PRODUCTION FILES AGAIN

Overkill's pc crashed completely and a reformat was needed....some of you may remember that somethig simlilar happened before and we both ranted about it on here. But this is f*cking ridiculous - there was MONTHS of stuff on there, including samples I had scoured the net for and some damn good tracks which I was proper proud of.

Obviously....I never got to post any of them on here so none of you will ever know whether im talking crap or not....but trust me my tunes had progressed a hell of a lot since i threw a cd ceedee's way a few months ago, and I was really looking forward to you all hearing them.

However....overkills comp was propper fuct and it seemed that the only thing to do was to reformat. SOMETHING FROM UP ABOVE IS TRYING TO STOP ME PRODUCING JUNGLE - WHATEVER IT IS WILL IT PLEASE F*CK OFF

Okay I've worked out what I'm going to do........STOP producing ANYTHING until I can buy my own PC.

I just can't be fuct to start from scratch again.


Sorry Ceedee for all the swearing, but imagine if your FTB server crashed, wouldn't restart, and you had to format it. You get me?

format wasn't needed 10 mins after finding the problem :-/ i reckon we coulda got it fixed.....and even if not you could've still saved vital files to CD or sent em to me.......

Yes.

It wasn't me who formatted it. I spent a good while racking my brains for a solution, but frost was quite intent on getting it working ASAP. He did lose all his artwork though. The majority of which was quality stuff.




Manik - true about the pirate software lol (Fruity etc) they can mess-up your system, but i dont think that had anything to do with it at the time - if i remember correctly it crashed during an internet game of Red Alert which was, i believe, a perfectly legal copy which Overkill bought for himself.
