If anyone knows a good Sound Engineer, get in touch with Merge, the DJ Booth was mega distorted, but at least Beer is now £2!!! And the sound on the main floor isn't too loud!!!

Tripmasta Jay, Liberty, Poisen, Timzy and TRICKY NICKY C on the microphone. Oh my goody-gosh! Absolute lunatics...

Sound engineers will have trouble getting through to the Jam Factory owners however, as after speaking to co-owner Mike I've come to the conclusion that they don't really want to pull in large numbers anymore.

Myself and Jon [Break Convention] had a chat with him in a very reasonable manner - stating that we are willing to invest a lot of time and energy [not to mention funds - as and when they come!] into this project.

BUT - "We need a better soundsystem!"
Mike went on to tall us that their system kicks ass if turned up properly but the 'shit' DJ's always blow something by cranking it up on the DJ Mixer...

use the attenuation meter on the mixer and then roll it a bit more on the amps..

or just brief all the dj's...

i hate dj's who red line mixers, have they no idea? once the volume gets to a certain point it won't get louder when you turn it up, it will just distort!
