Cheap Vestax?

I'm thinking of doing away with my Technics DMC one and grabbing a 05 or 06. Anyone know a cheap place/site?

I was thinking that loads of new versions have just come out (eg 05 Mk 3) so some places might have back stock of the old versions that they're selling cheap? Anyone?

best bet is to look in dj mag for back catalogue mk2 o5 i reckon. you could get them for £150.
i've seen an 06 for £180 not too long ago.

I'd jump at the chance of getting an 05 Mk 2 for £150! A lot of people have said that the DMC mixers are a bit shit but I've never really had any problems. I don't batter it in the same that you do though! It's still got it's spare fader in it and the current one is still fine.

Anyone want it? I'll take offers.

i know some one who is selling a dmc mixer almost new 4 £100 if anyone is interested....

tha faders r sweet but do ware away quick but the eq's on them r shit hot!

The only thing wrong with it is one of the line switches is missing, but can still be switched back and forth if use a pen lid or something to reach the switch. Apart from that it's just got a couple of small scratches on the face plate.

I've found it fine as a mixer. Advanced scratchers might want something different but I'm shit, so it's fine.

I was thinking about £100 like that other one mentioned, but will consider offers (but not silly ones Fu).

Well, hopefully an 05. This thread was originally to find out info on cheap ones, and then getting rid of my other mixer sort of follows on from that.

In an ideal world I would be able to afford an 07 or a Rane.

@ rouge- yeah i do work at swets, u work at blackwells don't u..

@grande- i have had it 4 a year and six months but havn't used it since i got my 07pro 10 months ago. x-fader needs replacin, input faders r in prity good condition, bit of a scratch on tha face plate.

has stcikers on face plate (those will prob peal off) but there is one on tha front that won't (its a scatch tha movie sticker)
