Seen. 20 squid is a bit steep, but Ghostface always puts on a decent show (at least he did last time)

Yeah man, made a last minute decision yesterday. I can't really afford it either, but it's not everyday Tony Starks and Cappuchino reach our shores!

Theodore Unit is a group of young up and coming MCs that Ghost is putting on, but I guess Cappadonna might be there as well.

Ghostface. What can I say? The man has mad stage prescence and knows how to work a crowd - once again the sound system was substandard, but I've come to expect that from venues of this stature, along with a slightly apathetic crowd half of whom just stood there gazing up at the stage, this was the only real negative aspect of the night. Oh yeah, and the fact Cappadonna didn't show.
The warm-up - a UK trio who I'd never heard of were OK, infinitely better than the Dirty South pap on offer at the Wu show in the summer anyway.
A fair bit of new material was showcased along with the well-known classics, but the highlight was Theodore Unit whose razor-sharp lyrics and energetic performance pretty much stole the show. But again the moody crowd seemed reluctant to participate.
The tube journey back to Wimbledon was a laugh; I had an argument with some guy claiming to be an off-duty detective about the merits of decriminalisation after he threatened to come on-duty and arrest me for skinning up.
:piss:

Just as Grande said they're some fresh talent presumably mentored by Ghost. They were an act in their own right but also backed up vocals for Ghost as he and the DJ were the only other ones on stage

and you rated his performance then?

Yeah, definitely. Too many big names that I've seen this year just seem to go through the motions, but he really seemed to be enjoying himself despite the crowd hostility.
