Can't find a fault with Calibre...apart from he needs to be booked in Oxford. MC Stamina on the mic for his set! :funk:

yes, i have.
calibre is not an artist to have lots of MCs double time MCing over his set... he is not the flava. Reload suits the twisteds and the nickey blacmarkets of this world. Calibre is a totally different vibe.
no disrespect to reload, it's just a different entity with a different market.
and yes Calibre is coming to Oxford soon.

Fair play... :)
Calibre is a jump-up drum 'n' bass producer and Reload is a jump-up night.
NUFF SAID?!

Well if the MCs were 'satisfactory' then it would be a party-and-a-half no?!

caibre writes soulfull drum&bass music, yes alot of it works very well on the dance floor. but i'm not sure he is in a similar league to the artists who have previously been booked at reload.

manik with the snobbery heh
I like calibre, but don't love his stuff. I only have a select few of his releases - as i've said before his stuff is a bit samey - the new calibre tune replaces the old one in my box.
Rimardo
13th October 2004, 12:59 PM
Calibre is not, I repeat, is NOT a jump-up producer LMFAO
His tunes are liquid/soulful. Mr. Maverick/Highlander are harder tunes he's made - hopefully he comes with more like these...

i'm just saying calibre wouldn't suit reload as much as other nights.
he would be better at kinetic imho.

He makes tracks which make me want to jump, up.
Therefore he is jump-up...
Soulful Liquid or whatever you want to call it is more suited to bars like the Cellar where people can sit on their arses and itch their chins! :fingah:

Calibre is an absolutely outstanding producer.
All his tracks have so much depth and soul.
I'm glad to here he's comming to Oxford.
I doubt he'd really suit a reload night but I don't think that really matters.
