Ok so i've nearly finshed my first tune but I don't know a couple of things.
Using reason 2.5 and having a Dr Rex as the main beat pattern, i'm unsure how to edit the beats other than going into edit mode and taking out or adding a slice.
If I want a different pattern with the same beats do I have to make another Dr Rex with the same units attached or can I save the pattern I've got for sections of the song and edit others?
Also once done, how do I get it up online? Is it just a matter of signing up to say Acid Trax and posting the link in there?
Cheers, any help much appreciated.

Ignore most of that^^^
I've got a new problem
I've saved my tune as an audio file but it won't go onto a host site (i've tried acid planet and one other) coz the file saves as a .waf or .aif file and ends up being about 40mb! Host sites will only allow about 20mb max and even when I use the minimun bit length etc I can still only get my track to 23mb in size.
Anyone know how to compress the file without having to pay for the full version of winzip? Or is there another way to save my auido file as a smaller mb size?
Sorry this is long and full of jargon...but any help would be MUCH appreciated coz i'm tearing my hair out over this shit!
Cheers :)

Cheers guys.
Although I've already tried converting it to a windows media file and its still 46 fookin MB!
I don't think there's a way round it without paying for some compressor right?
@ EDTA i'll get used to reason first but cheers for the offer of sx2. Will keep ya posted.

For beats, senor Jib, open a redrum and load up individual drums from the rex file. When you double click on it you get a list of all the cuts in the loop and you can stick them in and arrange as you wish.
Using Soundforge you can convert the files to whatever format you need and can specify the quality. 96kbps normally works fine and is not too big. If you have not got it I'll aim it to you when i get home.
