i don't have a fave style really..

i like producers who push the sound forward by investigating new production techniques etc.. i love producers who create from the heart rather than from the lust of a large bank balance.. currently my fave producers are.....

zero tolerance
fracture & neptune
breakage
klute
pfm
matrix
seba
paradox
xrs
calibre

yeah man Matrix rocks!

I'm currently feeling tracks by Mikrob, Blue Skin, Phantom Audio (Digital & Spirit), they're all quite liquidy tracks but I recently got out Damn Son by Trace and Nico off the massive Torque LP on No-U-Turn.

Peshay has been consistently outstanding for as long as i can remember, and Klute's recent stuff has been out of this world - Unwind Yourself (taken from the Metalheadz MDZ02 is probably my favourite track of last year.

I suppose my favourite style of DnB is positive dnb. it's quite hard to explain really but whether it's hard & dark or funky & fresh it has to have a certain ingredient - cue the cookery jokes!?!

But seriously, the diversity of the music is what has kept me interested - whethere it's jazzy, synth based, pure evil, or a cheesy bootleg, i love them all.

God bless Drum and Bass!

Gotta be jump up rollin' business with quick mixing and techniques !

The bloke from Dope Ammo who replaced Coco at compound being a prime example of the style I like ! http://www.bassment.net/forum/images/smiles/new_ukliam2.gif

FAVOURITE STYLE OF DnB? thats a good 1. I like all styles.

I like the concept kinda stuff, producers pushing the boundarys.
I like the CD's you get free with knowledge, they're pretty good.

that tune by Immortalmindz "Chicken Salsa" >>> Quality.

but their is the kinda listening DnB, eg: bukem.

When I'm at a club all things change and i like the rolling beats.
Not forgetting a massive dose of AMEN PRESSURE AND SUB BASSLINES

it varies on my mood...

i use the chillin tunes for my kind of background music and the more banging stuff for when i want to actually pay attention to it.

i have all sorts in my collection from

kloaking king
rah
the creeps
big bad bass
just wanna be
soundclash ep

to

3 of renegade hardware's element ep's
mean streets
glue sniffer
alien girl
kemal shit
dom shit
i like dylan
california curse
i like raiden
voodoo recordings
DSCI4

etc etc...

but if its one style then its dark tecky rollers

we give our tunes to a company

called "stage 1000".. there job is to promote the music to the media... as i'm a member

of the performing rights society everytime my music is played i'm owed money in

royalties... even if it's just the radio..

people who produce tv shows always

need music, if you watch the tv there is nearly always music in the background.. alot of

firms have in-house muscians but they also use what ever fits the bill.. which is why

companies like stage 1000 send off our music.... more importantly... if you can get into

production for tv/films etc.. you can earn shit loads of cash

Getting back into liquid funk...

It's like Phista listened to a tape I did in 1998 and said "Fackin 'ell Merge you were darker back then!"

I don't stay one style for ever... Try to do a bit of all of it seen.
