Buying A Car!

ok... so i [should] pass my driving test pretty soon and am carefully decideing what car to buy.. once i've passed, I will mostly be spending a few months in my mums car learning my skillz properly and then I will be in a position to buy something with a bit more class/finesse!

i'm no boy racer but i wouldn't mind something with a bit of poke, and it will need to sit 4 adults with comfort.. any ideas my friends? ? ?

Yeah Gem isn't far wrong with her suggestion. You can't get Ibiza Cupras like mine (with the turbocharged 20v engine in them) any more, but you can get a Leon Cupra with the same engine for a very good price these days.

They're sizeable too, you'll fit five adults into one of those comfortably so you'll have no problem with four.

Don't go near ford or rover or vauxhall with a bargepole, in my opinion......

Civic Type R? Or Integra Type R? If you can afford the £17-22K price bracket they'd be a good option.

Mind you I guess insurance is gonna be the limiting factor for something like a cupra, isn't it.....

I've been considering a slight tint on it for a while though, would make the silver lettering on my back window stand out more if it was darker.

What you think?

It'd be about 25% VLT on the back and rear two, and 30% VLT on the front two. I can get it done for about £250 through the SEAT guys.

Do aztec do it properly, know how they do it?
