Dillinjah - Fast Car

Has anyone heard Dillinjah - Fast Car ?

I heard it a few weeks back and i rekon he's gone too far this time. Somebody on another forum (bassment.net i think) said that they actually thought it was a joke.

Basically, it's awful. Dillinjah at his worst imho. Same old drum pattern with a horrible cheesy piano riff at the beginning and the dodgiest hoover bassline i have ever heard.

If anyone can find a link to it please post it so everyone can hear this terrible track!

I think I read some where that dilly was trying to stop websites hosting it :lol: that might be why it dont work ;)

the guy must've just been pissed up and stoned one night, loaded up his samples, chopped'em about a bit and added a vocal, then sat back and though "sweet, that'll make me another £10k" (or whateva)

i'll open a can of worms now.. but i'll have to disagree, his compacent style of same old same old is really annoying, he used to be much better back in 1996-1998.. he needs some new beats!

Put it this way - I've liked his tunes for a while whilst noticing that alot of them are samey, but when I heard this Fast Car bullshite i finally realised what ppl such as Manikular mean and I am inclined to agree.....although I think saying he's been shite for 5 years is a bit harsh!

Anyway, imho he has something to prove now. Come up wih a new style Dillinjah - go oooon, you know you could if you can be arsed :rolleyes:

The Dillinja remix admitadely although I find quite dark and heavy, it does seem a bit of a mess when you listen closely as I was playing at Latts' last night and his speakers are fine but it just sounded all a bit distorted ? ! :huh:

wicked innit! he did the same thing for the Autumn remix on V. he's been taking the piss for ages now. just sits back in the studio and goes "time to get grimey!"

then mashes together some dirty beats and bassline, and half an hour later *ping* the tune is ready.

i wouldn't go as far as to say that he's made nothing good over the past 5 years... Cybotron was a wicked track, as was Tudor Rose, a shame he used exactly the same bassline for go dillinja!?! & human b-bop was brilliant !

you gotta love it though. it's cheesy but you've just gotta!
