I ended up goin to baraka, then hit this mad house party in a squatter type house only slightly smaller than the one in human traffic. Fucking heaviness!

Pretty quiet actually. I was thinking about going to the Bully but fell off my horse yesterday and hurt my back, so ended up staying in and drinking a fair bit of bacardi!. I wanted to go to the cinema tonight pretty badly but alas no.

Fri nite was jokes, got way too drunk on wine, went to Globe and then Zodiac.

fri - didn't do much, was supposed to to made to measure in london but had issues @ home and had to be in brum early sat for the maintenence dude to come and fix up.

sat - tempo tantrum in london, pure quality until andy c came on. what an absolute joke. the first thing he did was put the mixer about 20dB into the gains and the system compressed like fuck. sounded pony. the breaks room was rocking! - afterwards went back to my mate bens place, he gave me a free firewire soundcard. result!

Got mashed Friday; didn't enjoy my set at all as I was using some shit Numarks and the mixer was completely fucked. There were no monitors and the doundsystem was so fucked you couldn't mix off that.

Saturday ended up going to a house party and getting stupidly pissed. I genuinely haven't got a clue what happend and unfortunately neither does anyone else at the party coz we were all so pissed.

It was ALOT worse this time man, least you had technics and a pioneer mixer. It was terrible on friday, even worse than it was when yiou played and it was bad then. lol. I'm not feeling too bad about it now because I know I did the best I could but if that had been the first time I'd ever played out I would've been gutted.

Yeah the Technics & the Pioneer were locked up and the venue wouldn't get them out. I spoke to the promoter and he was cool about it and it won't happen again

Yeah true man, one of the main reasons I was having trouble was that I couldn't see the fucking mixer - all the gains were wacked right up on the right hand deck so when I brought in the first mix it souded WAY too loud. & the fact there are no monitors either made it near enough unpossible to make a nice tight clean mix...

Friday was a shambles - from the 4hr round trip to dealing with some Fisher Price mixer which fucked up everything. MCd for about 10 mins before giving up. BRASS

Saturday was jokes from start to finish. Brockie played one of the best sets I've heard and judging from this and his display at Herbal on Wednesday he really seems to have raised his game.

Spent Sunday recovering in the pub with Rimma aka Ricardo aka Pubwatch Veteran and some others before getting kicked out by the chairman of pubwatch for being to rowdy: "Respect the Blue Boar!!"

Got back to work after a week off to find pretty much none of my jobs have been done and all my MP3 d/loading software's been removed from my computer.

Yeah - I'd say so. Didn't hear Warhead, 2 degrees, The One or any of the usual stuff he's renowned for. He still played a hard set - the mixes just seemed a lot tighter that's all.

But what do I know? I spent most of my time with my eyes shut feelin the rush.

I think I may be one of the only people who think's 2 Degrees is fucking SHIT - probably the gayest tune ever made IMO. I know a lot of people rated it but I think it's fucking wank :poopslay:
