If you think you could get a mix my way within the next 5-6 days please say so in this thread, We will then look at opening the comp again.

It was only the whole christmas post thing & not knowing if the cd would get there in time that put me off, but i see what your saying

i agree the rules are the rules, but i would also be screwing if my cd didn't get there on time cos of the post.

You should check the postage of the cd's anything posted before the 27th should be allowed even if it arrived after that date.

I can see both sides of this issue to be honest

I just prefer the idea of a night giving a bit of work to the dj with the best and most suitable demo rather than them giving work to a dj who is willing to do things behind the scenes for the night etc

Ez, haven't got enought 'lite' records that I would put in a set. Not without it being by all the same artists anyway!
