Careful tho mike. If you hold nights to regularly they
loose their novelty and become samey. Don't kill it :)

I can't be arsed to do Thursdays as well. We are
running around like blue-arsed flies already and getting not enough cash!!

that is true, however you should
always play on the fact that every other event failed.. you have the upper
hand!!! rinse it!!

I ain't got no promotion experience mate so I'm
not at all sure what it's all about, but surely if THEY are asking YOU then you are
calling at least a few of the shots.
Mind you man, I agree that too often doing a
night might not actually be the best idea.

I have to say I'd like the chance to promote other forms of music
more...

maybe do drum&bass monthly and then
use your other saturday to promote whatever else..
saying that... the drum&bass
scene in oxford has never been so healthy!

I heard someone say the oxford scene is saturated.
Might be a good name for Thursdays - Centrifugal Sound presents SATURATE!
heheheh! :D

there is saturation in oxford to a
certain extent. people can pick and choose what events to go to.. it was only yesterday i
noticed that ray keith is playing in oxford the day after we are launching hq.. so there is
plenty of choice about.. how many people go to every d&b event in oxford? i don't think
i have the energy or the time to go to half of them..

That can only be good though, as spreading the noise of
jungle / drum n bass is the game here!
