Hokay. You're homework for tonight is to write a detailed essay on exactly what is 'shite' about one of the most popular tunes of the 96/97 era to back up your statement. I want detailed analysis of the beats, the bass, and the funk factor.
NO CHEATING OR STEALING MIKEE'S NOTES
Bonus points for bringing in an apple for the teacher

shy has talent. his agent black stuff fucking rocks. especially "feel good" and stuff like that. over the years he has written some seminal beats.
chopper remix just fucking grates me.
the main thing i hate is the fact that it has that god awful bassline
the 2nd reason for me hating it is the fact that deep blue had the "helicopter" idea first.

The Shy FX version is a remix of an older Ray Keith tune which came out on Dread Recordings.
Im not too sure which one came out first or even who had the idea first but if anyone possibly stole the idea from Deep Blue then surely it was Ray Keith
:)

it's true though.
but the main point is that bassline.
it reminds me of middle class white kids trying to be bad.

I prefer Shy Fx - The Message really though.
roblem being is that I scratched the tune on the intro real bad then it was not playable again :[
Then threw it and smashed it up completely

:funk: Classic.
I'm not gonna unappreciate it but out of all Shys work in 1996 the others are better, and they don't get so rinsed.
I'm surprised all the kids don't like those tunes. They all sound like he made them in the same day.
I'd much rather hear Ray Keiths original.:hyper:
