I'm currently working on a complete redesign of the

FEELTHEBASS website. This will involve changing the structure of the website so that it is

entirely database driven, with articles running on the front page that you can reply to and

vote on, and so on and so forth.

What I'd like you all to tell me is what

features you'd like to see on the website. Also:

- What features you use most

regularly on the current website
- What features on the current website could be

enhanced, and how
- What you don't want to see on the new website.

If you

could let me know by posting below that would be cool - and we can make FTB an absolutely

awesome community.

Cheers!

The gallery needs to be updated for sure.

Plus it would be

worthwhile if the online store was a little more extensive. Can't you get in touch with

another online store such as yellow records or mirage etc and come to some arrangement and

extend your selection and their potential market??

DJ and MC profiles to

Foxy

you're suggestions totally mirror mine from the last time manikular asked for advice on

updates to the site!

:D

we are in negotiations with the fastest growing uk

online store at the moment. so hopefully things will happen soon, the problem is there are

only a core of about 15-20 people on Feel The Bass right now, so in order to build a

commercial relationship with a store of this ilk we need to build on numbers... a few ways

we will be doing this...

1. Redeisgn with new features and articles
2. Events

support and sponsorship
3. Banner trading etc.
4. Advertising

click-throughs.

watch this speace folks.. hopefully it will be all gravy very soon

indeed :)

It'd be terrific if we could click on a link

such as
<a

href='http://archives.feelthebass.co.uk/centrifugalsound/breakconvention/episode05/overkill

&philblunt'

target='_blank'>http://archives.feelthebass.co.uk/centrifu...rkill&philblunt</a>
and

get to listen to the live sets which I could be giving Ceedee on CD very shortly!!

What do you reckon FTB crew?

Of course I would make this clear on all the

flyers and posters etc!
To be broadcast on FeelTheBass.co.uk [kinda like Reaction

and Samas are already doing! :)]

Bit of sponsorship never hurt anyone eh?!

Wicked.

Also, I was going to suggest you

recreate the back button for the forum. Otherwise you have to scroll through everytime you

make an error innit! :D

Yo, something you could add might be the ability to

place a comment about a dubplate, like breakbeat.co.uk

I wouldn't say that

it's a must, but may be cool.

1. Advanced Booking feature for all FTB-related events (ie.

Compound, Method, Obsession basically any event which people post on here about)

2. I

think it's already been mentioned but some more colour would be cool

3. plus some

more forum smilies.....?

ok profiles on djs/mcs be good have u thought of using ftb as an agency?

booking tickets online or even just a address 2 get them

deffently ftb shop.>t-shirts in mind?

sms

maybe a page 4 the chatters 2 add there pictures on certain things exept porn of course...i think that if we looked on other sites and see what they have....take the best from each.....its not copying its called shareing ideas and the internet is a web of ideas..that way ur ftb website proberly b the best

u thought of adding it 2 the dnb web ring?

Manikular

the agency side of things is something we are considering... this will be alongside the current agency which is here -> www.formulainc.com

also check our remixers agency http://agency.newvision.org

we have some big names on board such as paradox, a-sides, blame and danny c [the other one :) ]

Lady_Dayaster

dj raw
8th April 2003, 03:17 PM
an info page for djs who are producing their own shows could be useful.

with things like: watch the levels

try to talk a bit to introduce the tracks.

etc...
