Generally when people listen to alot of a particular type of music they dig a little deeper as they wanna hear something new or they just refine their tastes.

I love dnb at the moment coz you've got loads of every different style being produced and it's wicked. If you don't like jump up don't go to jump up raves simple. Which is why I rarely go to em.

I wouldnt say that any of those top 3 tunes were jump up, which makes it even more clear than genre definitions can be a very subjective thing. One man's jump up is another mans liquid and one mans dark tearing stuff is another mans jump up. Labelling is pointless in my opinion, i just aim to play good music and that will probably include some peoples liquid, some peoples jump up etc...

That's the sort of tune that could fit into either a liquid or jump up set IMO.

There's such a thin line between so many tunes, that there's no real point in labelling it just makes it easier to describe what syle suits someone best.

I remember Hussla saying once that everyone calls a tune a "roller" when they can't label it as anything else. Most Drum n Bass rolls along nicely so that'd make sense.
