What type of card would you buy things with?

Hi People,

A few of you have made suggestions

about selling tickets on FTB. To do this I obviously need to be able to accept credit &

debit cards, and depending on which types I can accept, it costs different amounts to get

the service.

So could you tell me what type of card you would use to buy things

online from FEELTHEBASS?

I think you should take 1 credit card and 1 debit card.

Maybe Visa and Solo ?

Visa Debit / Visa Credit / Mastercard all come as one.

Switch isn't a problem

either, and that usually comes with Solo too.

Trouble with accepting Solo and

especially Electron is that the rules of the card scheme state that EVERY SINGLE TRANSACTION

irrespective of amount, MUST get authorised and this involves extra processing. Hence extra

cost.

But I'll see what I can do cos not everyone can get

Visa/MC/Switch.

i wouldn't bother with solo or electron... there are usually given to either

16-18 year olds
people with crap credit history

i wuold use any that i could get my hands on as theres loads of stuff i wanna buy of the net, including jungle (get picture discs and get my interest:)) but as of yet no one has been foolish to let me have a credit or debit card of any type. so how i got my camera i have no idea (yes i keep mentionging it but yay!!!)

and 16-18 yr olds, as we all know, are not a valid part of society

you sure it wouldnt be worth taking some kind of debit card? not bothered cos I have a credit card anyway, but alot of people I know dont

No problem but at the moment it's gonna be selling tickets for events, all of which have a minimum age of 18. So FTB would be breaking the law if it sold knowingly to people under this age.

But worry not, people without credit cards. I'm going to accept:

Visa (Credit)
Visa Delta (Debit)
MasterCard (Credit)
Switch (Debit)
Solo (Debit)

Manikulars obsession with (w)age groups is just starting to worry me heh... :D

We're all junglists right? what we should be worried about is those who come to events to start fights ala Jam Factory last saturday...that guy must've been 21+

nah its not, just a cashpoint card. when i had a meeting with my (FIT) account manager a while ago she said i can get a debit/credit card whenever i want, just aint got round to sorting it out yet ;]
