Norwich Union was the cheapest BY FAR for me...
it was £1100 fully insured (cheapest i got anywhere else was £1400), but after doin pass plus it goes down 50%...
also, every 9 monthes you get 1 years no claims, plus 1 years free after the first 9 monthes... so after 3 years you'll have 5 years no claims...

Tesco are pretty good try them. Also if anyone asks you if you have had any other quotes always say about £100 less than you were quoted, people will always try to blag you, it's their job to.

It's just best to shop around really.
I was with Swinton for my first year, Tesco for my second and am now with the AA.
Don't always think that because a company gave you a good deal for your previous year that they will give you the best possible deal on the next year when compared with other offers.
Just keep shopping around...

Seems to work cheaper if u put someone else as a named driver too.

try http://www.confused.com they do a search for quite a few different companies for you, the form you have to fill in is long but you only have to do it once and it just emails you the results as they come in.

try direct line, they are good for me.
also virgin insurance are good as they don't charge interest if you pay monthly.
also try the firms which are for females only. they seem to be quite cheap!
e-sure are a good broker too!
