i like it apart from the obligatory 808 snare rolls which sound amazingly dated.. the filtered reese sweep does it for me though and the vocal isn't too bad at all..

most hard house and trance is very lack lustre in production.. oh qu'ell surprise... another low pass filter on the main hook... and the 4 crash cymbals at the end of each 16 bars is enoguh to drive anyone insane..

16 beats, 8 bars, and even then it's irregular. And I reckon its more snares than crash!

Good old radio 1.. I heard it a lot after january, coz me mate tino got a copy when he was off skiing somewhere over the new year.. apparently there were loads of em coz it was the 12 o clock tune in the club they went to.. It was great then, but now it's been caned on the radio all the time, it's a bit weak..
At least there's no chance of the twist em out remix hitting number 1, coz that mcing is shite..

doesnt music just have to sound good to be appreciated?
and thats down to personal tastes obvisously, no one can tell anyone else whats good or dated, there is no clear cut to whats good and bad in music
only what you do like, and what you dont
most hard house and trance is very lack lustre in production
i spose theres only so many things you can do around a beat, and its all been done before

my view: you're right frost, no-one can tell you what music you like or not!
manik and gem were jus discussing where they thought the 4 crash symbols were actually placed.
personally, I like this tune very much. it's not drumnbass, but it's a phat tune nonetheless B) especially if you gradually turn the volume down on the radio just as it's building up, and then wack it up a fracion of a second before the bassline drops... gives me goosebumps :)

if you like one particualr style you'll proberbly have musical cynicism towards all others that sound nothing like it. which is anything else as its not your style. some you will like. some you wont. some you will be ashamed of liking or terrifided that 'THAT' tune got to #1 in the charts or something. but back to the cynicism, with russian lesbians whos to complain.
(im not sure if thats sarcasm or not)
but garage is sh!te
