If I knew how I would....the only way I can think of doing it is by destroing the tape and slowly feeding the roll into my PC...that might work?

record the set onto your pc as you would if you were recording a mixset but instead of plugging the phono leads into the back of the mixer put them into the back of your tape deck, works for me

I just find it harder to lock if its not battle setup.

I can lock a tune much quicker on my setup anyway when its in battle mode, plus the records are much less likely to skip, coz your hands aren't so close to the needle when you touch the vinyl.

Right, I need some help with this from you technical lot.

I'm using wavelab with a midi system with seperate AUX and tape outputs. But the tape doesn't have any actual outputs as such. The only outs are via AUX and it doesn't seem to want to record anything straight from tape.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I've tried different ports but with no luck.

I basically want to rip a tape onto wavelab.

It was the wiring I needed to sort....got the right jack to jack leads sorted and i've recorded some of it now :D
