After the massive success of the last event bank holidays really will 'never be the same again' as we have been rewarded with a regular bank holiday slot at the Parkend Club :D

The next event is booked for Sunday 25th May

Once again we are gonna be shakin down the rafters with the finest selection of DJ's and Mc's covering House/Trance, Funky House and Jungle/Drum and bass
as well as sexy podium dancers and drinks promotions.

Already 100% booked and confirmed for the 'Republica' room are none other than

'Brandon Block and Alex P'

I will have a full line ups for the 'What Da Funk' room and 'Rumpshaker' drum and bass room by the end of the week.

almost all the method crew in session with guests mikee merge'n'c and liberty
had a good crowd in there 4 most of the night ,didnt really go in the other rooms
as they were even more packed than ours,good sytem,wicked night! looking

Right I have already spoken to sneaky, who will be hotting things up for the first hour 9.30-10.30. My theory is that we are gonna get gradually darker as the night progresses which is why I want you (Phil Blunt and Overkill) rinsing us out for the last hour (3-4) with some of your famous drum and bass terrorism!!!!

Is that cool with you?

Flyers are going to the printers tomorrow (Monday) so if all goes as planned, I should be able to give you all a batch by the weekend. I will get you all a book of tickets to sell too.

Keep your eyes peeled for the boards and posters which should start appearing soon and any help anyone wishes to offer in distributing them will be greatly appreciated!

Due to the 4am alcohol license there is a restriction on numbers.

You probably wont notice a decrease in volume as we will be closing off the upstairs bar and using it as a VIP chillout room so the 1000 will be in a smaller space! :P

Just to update you, we have decided not to have a VIP room after all as we think it would create an 'Us and Them' atmosphere which isnt what a good party is all about!! It would also mean extra security having to be employed to control entry........

Yeah ! The decks were terrible !

The pitch kind of reacted when it wanted to on the left one, the right deck seemed to have all plus and minus 8 pitch within about an inch and was very sensitive and generally set a challenge and a half to mix on ! !

Then you have the problem of not hearing the tune you were mnixing on the headphones, then there were the mc's going through too ! ! !

Big Doh ! !

Next time we're soundchecking properly !

Thing the echo box / mic seperate was plugged into the mixer which made it go through the headphones or something ! I dunno !

We could of filled at least the funky house room, or probably the one downstairs ! A lot of people were put of because it was so busy in there ! That can only be a good thing really I suppose ! ? !

Listened to the mini disc and it sounds good. Tracjmarked the sets and may be putting them onto CD although the quality isn't 100% and also, you cannot expect perfect mixing because of the conditions ! ! :unsure: :D

ps. Shuffla seems to be recovering well, spoke to him yesterday and I think he was feeling a little worn out after his own personal session ! Big Up Ali, it could only be you ! ! ;)

Generally though, the mixing is a bit rough round the edges purely due to the mixing conditions but I want everyone to experience me drop twist em out at a minute volume and then put warriors back in off bar ! ! Sounds soooooooooo good ! But funny at the same time !

I think this week we are putting something into action so once CD's are done, go from there really ! !
