Hi guys,
Firstly a massive massive tahnks to all who came down on friday and represented. To be honest I thought it was going to be a disaster, our prmotion was very slack due to varying circumstances. The night was capacity, I apologise for people waiting to get in. As i'm sure you guys know there are currently a few issues with the night that *are* being contended with, due to this we are stopping the night until october when we will be back regenerated. As a night we will continue with our ethos of providing the finest in drum&bass music of all subgenres and persuasions.
As a night goes [and as anyone knows] the night doesn't really get busy until 11pm onwards, so to try and conteract that we are going to be experimenting with various ideas to try and get people in early. one idea is to change the current pricing policy and make it free to get in before 21.30 and then charge £5/6/7 thereafter. The happy hour drinks thing does ok, maybe we can get some even more happier pricing going on?!?!
Musically we have decided that the first 90-120 minutes will revert to non-drum&bass. this will give residents and guests to play records other than d&b that they may have. this can be anything from hiphop, through electro, chill-out, oldskool, garage, house or breaks. whatever goes.
we are currently looking into bookings and will be announcing our line ups in the near future.
I'm really grateful for all the support and i look forward to seeing you all down there soon.
