I would normally happily challenge anyone that came out with that statement in regard to Global Gathering but because I know already that you would reply with "I’m not going for the drum and bass, it's all about the house" I don't think I will bother this time...

i think it is the best yet considering the two days.
coming from the last bastion of house superclubbing i think they've done good.
homelands proved that trying to be overly high-brow fucked things up - they only had 15,000 people throw the gates, 1/2 capacity which means the mean fiddler are in two minds about doing another one. at least global are providing what the masses want with much more diversity than ever before. ps electro is a bit passe now imho, the breaks arena looks tidy tho!

From one of the Clearsound sound engineers on DNBA...
Hate to put a spanner in the works but I worked along side the sound systems last year and they had a sound limit of 98db and I know for a fact they are reinforcing it even more this year with heavy fines if these limits are broken. Every arena has a sound monitor which monitors the sound levels for the whole event!! chow
Looks like it wont just be the dnb that suffers then I guess

98dB is actually allright.
80dB is about as loud as someone shouting so it will be alot louder than that.
considering 120dB is concorde taking off you guys can do the math :p
