Close your eyes and imagine!!!!

think really hard!!!

its clearly a matter of either attending Bedlam, Source or both. And unless your feeling reasonably hardcore that weekend im guessing the average raver will choose one venue, so its battle of the valve really!

Choose wisely (Badlam!!) :funk:

both nights will be rammed, Source@Brookes have always been sell out if not nr to sell out, so does Bedlam. I doubt you'll find many Brookes students willing to travel to Swindon when they have the Valve on their doorstep!

Last time I went to Brunels I had a wicked night, cant remember the line up tho, it was the Valve. Although waiting over 2 hours for a train was a killer, it was freeeeeeezing.

If have enough money which I doubt I will may try and reach both.

All about Brookes that weekend tho.:hyper:

Uhm

I just love the way everyone likes to slag of the people who bust there nuts to put on parties for the ravers. Bottom line is all us promoters put our money where are mouths are, a lot of it, and compete with each other to give you all the best night out possible. If you don't like what we do and want to go elsewhere then be my guest....

Three little points though, we have been working with Valve for nearly 3 years now, and nearly a dozen events. Outside of London (in the UK of course) we have the greatest amount of system on show, more than leeds, newcastle, reading, and oxford. But what makes me laugh is that it isn't just about how much system you have, it is the acoustics as well... If any of you know Dillinja and Lemon D ask them where the Valve sounds best and they will reply Swindon, low sealings and great audience positioning.

Two, the Valve shoudn't have been booked so close together, ie oxford-swindon 25 miles away, agency balls up.

Third, AZONICA you were begging for guestlist last time, now you would rather go to Banbury, carry on pal, carry on. :finger: Maybe we shall meet at Source as I am going down with Friction...

Of course I want everyone to come to Bedlam but those who choose to go to the Source enjoy it like I have done so many times in the past.

i dont think most people were slagging bedlam off, but you have to understand that the majority of the people on this forum live in oxford and Brookes is one of the biggest local dnb nights hence will show their support - allegiences lie there. Especially since basically it is Bedlam or Source not both for most people...

Of course competition is good but surely you should have expected a little banter from FTB - thats what we do!

As I said before, I hope both nights go well, as I'm sure they will but I shall be going to source. Maybe next time :)

To be honest, and this is just from my understanding of Oxford's Council Health n safety workers, whom a number of which i know personally, there is no way on this earth 90k will be turned on (nevermind up) in Oxford city area. i dont want to burst any bubbles, but Brookes as fantastic as it is can't hold that amount of sound in. i give it 30 mins tops before you get complaits from some very unfortunate neighbours... "oh that ghastly noise" .... in those words it could spell a big fine/ or even revokation of thier premisis licience.
I'd place my bets on the -- FINANCIAL -- manager at Brookes not even knowing about this. i wonder what he'd say at the prospect of the council revoking his licience to trade.... MILLIONS OF POUNDS IN REVENUE LOST..........for what??? maybe i'm just doubting thomas.....

c my point? I'm not going to risk it....not for £15+ motd + more if u have blonde hair + more if you over 10 stone....and so on. sorry but i agree with mikee merge here. whats that capacity again?.?.?.?.?.? how much money you trying to rinse from people???
you guys must be cashing in......! we run in a venue a third the size of brookes...... and its cheaper....and i really dont think all of valve is coming.... thought it for a while just waiting for somebody else to say it.

REMEMBER THIS IS JUST MY OPINION....
