New night from Oxford (tbc)

Hi

I have been in talks with the Jam Factory and they are going to let me use it monthly on Wednesdays from August. Date to be confirmed for the start up night, but hopefully 13th August.

Welcome to Lockdown - Serving Oxford with a variety of DnB styles.

Following discussions with agents, provisional bookings have been made for the following DJ's and MC's for the launch night.

PASCAL (True Playaz)
DJ Ollie (Innovation / Direct Recordings)

MC Bassman
MC Flyte

+ Resident DJ's and MCs.

All to be confirmed in the next couple of weeks, let me know what you think.

If all goes well, expect further nights with headliners such as DJ Die and Brockie.

Fairplay, I like the sound of that line up! And DJ Die, is one DJ I rate very highly! :)

I've only heard Ollie play once, that was at the last Innovation weekender, I was well inmpressed, heavy set form the main man from Direct Recordings!!!

You gonna get the Management, to sort out the system in the Jam Factory...as i'm sure Merge has told you bout it in there! Once the system is sorted, and with the line up's you've got planned, it should be a wicked night!

Not sure about Brockie though, plus he's polaying in Oxford next month, Oxford needs to see some different headliners!

If you after some other DJ's to warm it up for the headliners, then your find nuff quality DJ's on tis board, like myself! *plug* *plug* :rolleyes: :D

Agreed. Also, another example would be IC3 ! To be honest, his lyrical content is not great but his sheer presence at events etc makes him a don.

Everyone picking on Frosty...all his saying is he'd like to hear the tunes..It was the like's of Shabba & Skibadee who spoilt a couple of sets @ the weekender, which ruined things for a fair few peeps. They're good MC's but they need to shut up every now & then & stop chatting about them selves & beatches...

I do like Fatman D though, he's alright he gets the crowd going. Raw is another MC who I heard at the weekender, and I thought he was spot on, got the crowd going more, knew when to shut up, & didn't chat about himself all the time...AND you could understand wwhat he was saying!
